Work parties are scheduled for the purpose of general maintenance, clean-up of the grounds, and buildings:

You can just show up on the designated date and time or contact Paul Callender for more information and/or to sign up. Grounds Committee Chairman, Carlos Fuentes will be posting, a list of work items that need to be done, to the outside clubhouse bulletin board. We are asking workers to bring gloves, rakes, shovels, wheelbarrows, chainsaws,and anything you believe may be of assistance. |

This year's fishing derby will be on Saturday, June 8th at 10 AM. As always I am looking for multiple volunteers to assist with the event by being there at 8AM to help set up, rig poles, measure fish, pass out worms, assist with lunch, and/or clean up. Help for all or part of that day would be greatly appreciated.

The Outdoor Weekend will be held in July from Friday July 12th through Sunday July 14th.
ALL RANGES WILL BE CLOSED
Outdoor Weekend is an activity for boys and girls ages 11 to 16. This event is a hands on weekend learning experience. Participants learn how to shoot black powder muzzle-loaders, .22 rifle, trap, skeet, and archery. For children safety, shooting events are one on one with an instructor. Ear plugs and safety glasses are furnished. Hunters education topics will include hunter safety, bow hunting, survival, trap & field care, turkey hunting, and much more fun.

The annual Decathlon will be held on the club grounds Sunday July 7, 2013 at 10:00AM.
ALL RANGES WILL BE CLOSED
Category classes for the event are: Pro, Men, Women,Junior (13-16 yrs), and Sub Junior (12 & younger).
Events include:
Casting, Tomahawk, Archery, Air Rifle, Skeet, Trap, 22 Pistol, 38 Pistol, 22 Rifle, Black Powder
All shooting devices are club furnished;

There will be a Skeet & Trap Shoot on Saturday May 25, 2013 at the ARGC range. Doors open at 5:30PM.
This event is open to the public.
Beginners are Welcome! Cost is $5.00 per round, members-plus card-plus $1.50.
Contact Rich with questions or for additional info. We are planning to continue this shoot with frequency dependent on shooter turnout. |
